For use with Powerpole® 15/45, 10 amp and 30 amp pin & socket and PCB Powerpole® 25 amp products.
The Blindmate Powerpole® Pak which can be purchased as components or pre-assembled at the factory, was developed to meet the demand for modular blindmate connections for the Power and Communications markets. These housings permit blindmating of a 2x4 configuration of Anderson’s 15/45 Powerpole® connectors as well as both the 10 amp and 30 amp make first / break last (pin & socket) contacts for grounding purposes. Spring loading and generous chamfers provide for a maximum .450 in. (11.43mm) of vertical and .470 in. (11.93mm) radial alignment.
The Blindmate receptacle allows for direct attachment to a printed circuit board (PCB) in either a right angle or vertical configuration when used with the Powerpole®. 25 amp PCB contacts.
The Blindmate and Powerpole® 15/45 housings are manufactured of high impact and corrosion resistant thermoplastic UL94 V-0 rated resin. A wide range of colors are available for the individual Powerpole® housings which facilitates cable coding and proper assembly.
The cable contacts can be either crimped or soldered and are available in both loose piece and reel to cover prototype and mass production requirements.
