Built for large, battery-powered outdoor equipment, this IP68-rated connector is weatherproof and combines three power contacts with eight signaling pins for industry-leading battery monitoring capabilities.
Engineered for Lithium-Ion and Brushless Motor Applications
As modern outdoor electric equipment embraces brushless DC motors (BLDCs), lithium-ion batteries, and advanced intelligence, design engineers require enhanced power and signaling capabilities from their connectors. While standard connectors offer only two power contacts and up to six signals, the SBSXPRO delivers industry-leading performance with three power contacts and eight signal contacts.
- The three power contacts support the three-phase windings inherent in brushless motor designs.
- The eight signal pins enable advanced system monitoring and control. Engineers can use the auxiliary signals to capture data on battery lifespan, mating cycles, internal temperature, brushless sequencing, and more. These insights help equipment owners maintain peak equipment performance through proactive maintenance.

Maintenance Interconnect for Faster Servicing and Troubleshooting
The SBSXPRO also provides a unique maintenance interconnect solution that makes equipment assembly, servicing, and troubleshooting easier than ever. When the SBSXPRO is used to replace the hardwired connection between an equipment’s power source and its motors/controllers, operators and owners can unmate the connector by hand and disconnect power from the battery much more easily. This avoids the need for technicians with specialized tools to access internal wiring, greatly simplifying maintenance and reducing equipment downtime.
Rugged Performance for Harsh Outdoor Environments
The SBSXPRO is a sealed connector designed specifically for the needs of construction, agricultural, and lawn/garden equipment exposed to harsh outdoor conditions. With a rugged IP68 rating, the connector is protected against moisture, rain, dust, and debris intrusion and withstands submersion while mated for up to 30 minutes at a depth of six feet.

Expanding the SBSX Sealed Connector Line
The SBSXPRO joins the SBS®X-75A connector as the second sealed connector in the Anderson Power SBSX product portfolio. The existing SBSX-75A Sealed Waterproof Connector Series comes in multiple configurations offering up to two power contacts and six signals or ground, amperage up to 140A, durability of up to 5,000 mating cycles, and an IP68 weatherproof rating.
