Since 1953, the SB\u00ae has set a proven record of performance using the innovative flatwiping contact technology. New features were added over time with the launches of the SBS\u00ae, SBE\u00ae, &amp; SBX\u00ae connectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SBS\u00ae Mini at a Glance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SBS\u00ae Mini securely holds two (2) crimp and poke contacts with sacrificial tips to enable hot swap capabilities on DC circuits. The low resistance contacts accept 20 to 10 AWG (0.75 to 4.0 mm\u00b2) wires allowing up to 52 amps of UL rated performance per position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rugged one-piece housings fully insulate each contact position for 600V capability. SBS\u00ae Mini adds additional insulation to the mating interface to protect against accidental exposure to live circuits. Easy to grip housings inherit color-coded mechanical keys from the SB\u00ae connector. Each key is assigned a unique color for quick foolproof circuit identification.
