PROPOSITION 65

In 1986 California enacted Proposition 65 (“Prop 65”) into California state law, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act. This Act requires a warning on all products sold in California containing one or more of the 900 chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm. The list is maintained by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), and can be found online at www.oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65/proposition-65-list.

Under Prop 65, businesses (including manufacturers, distributors and retail sellers) making sales to customers in California are required to give a “clear and reasonable warning” for products containing chemicals on the Prop 65 chemical list. Below is a list of the product(s) we sell that include chemicals on the Prop 65 chemical list. This/these products may result in an exposure to one or more listed chemicals, as identified in the proposition 65 list.

It is imperative that we work together to ensure compliance, as California’s Prop 65 warning requirements apply to manufacturers, distributors and sellers. Your cooperation in meeting these compliance requirements is appreciated.
